CALERA Research Manual

The Research tool can be used to control CALERAresearch devices directly from a PC or Mac.

Using the Research tool, rather than the Android & iOS CORE app, has several advantages, including:

• Multiple devices management
• Faster download
• Stable connection

To use the Research tool, use the Bluetooth dongle shipped with the CALERAresearch devices.

You can download the latest version here, or contact us at  info@caleraresearch.com to get immediate access (You would need to register for access on the greenteg website to access the files).

Please consult the 'CALERA app' section or 'Research tool' section of this manual for instructions on how to properly download the data from the device.

It could take a few seconds for the device to appear in the list when you open the research tool; if not, please:

1. Gently shake the device and scan again

2. Try a magnet reset, check for LED feedback, and after a few seconds try another scan

3. Charge the device for a few minutes, check for LED feedback and try again

To do a Magnet Reset:

• Take the magnetic end of the charging cable and rub it in the bottom right corner as shown below. The LED should flash quickly. Then place the CORE on charge and ensure the LED flashes at a regular interval.
